Hugo Drochon is Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the University of Nottingham and the author of Nietzsche's Great Politics (Princeton University Press 2016). He received his PhD from Cambridge in 2012 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the 'Conspiracy and Democracy' project at CRASSH, Cambridge, from 2013–18 before going to Nottingham. He works on Nietzsche's politics, democratic theory, liberalism, conspiracy theories, and the far-right; he writes for the Guardian, New Statesman, and TLS; and he managed to beat Oxford as a basketball coach in 2014.
